How to install and launch on macOS
Cadence is not signed with an Apple Developer ID. When you launch it for the first time, macOS will block the app with a security error — that is expected. Follow these steps to install and open it.
- 01 Download Cadence using the button above.
- 02 Unzip the downloaded archive (double-click Cadence.zip in Finder).
- 03 Copy Cadence.app into your Applications folder.
- 04 Launch Cadence from Applications. macOS will show a security warning because the app is not signed.
- 05 Do not close that warning. While it is still on screen, open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- 06 Scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Cadence, then confirm.
Still blocked?
Make sure Cadence.app is in Applications before you launch — not in Downloads or the unzipped folder. You can also right-click Cadence.app in Applications, choose Open, then click Open in the dialog.
